The idea behind Asil’s call to healing implies that we all have so much to be healed. We go through our life and are shaped by our parents and our surroundings. Even parents who only mean well with their children, often still can’t help but to traumatize them. After all, all a child wants is to be loved for who it is. To guarantee this and to really let a child grow up the way it was meant to be and to love it unconditionally requires parents who are able to love unconditionally. But are they able to? Did they get modeled unconditional love from their parents? In the least cases. It is hard for parents to accept that their child has its own personality, interests and priorities especially when they don’t fit the parents priorities. Also society is putting so many images and demands in our heads about how we should look, what we should do with our lives and how we will receive recognition. Many people end up living a second hand life orientated to the demands of their surroundings instead of finding their own gifts and purpose in this life.
Healing means waking up to your soul call, it means finding happiness inside and living a purposeful life.
